Hosted by Blue Grass Community Foundation and Smiley Pete Publishing, the GoodGiving Challenge is an online giving campaign that strives to build a community spirit of philanthropy and make supporting the participating nonprofits easy and fun.
Our online giving platform at BGgives.org features searchable profiles of the participating nonprofits. All donations will be processed through this website, allowing nonprofits and donors to track the giving. During the GoodGiving Challenge, sponsored matching incentives, and cash and endowmwnt prizes amplify donations.
We encourage support of local nonprofits with year-round giving, but the GoodGiving Challenge was created as a local charitable celebration to applaud the philanthropists in our community and support the work of local nonprofits. Plus, gifts made through BGgives.org during the GoodGiving Challenge are amplified through sponsored matching incentives and prizes. Only gifts made through BGgives.org count towards a nonprofit's eligibility for these prizes.
The minimum gift amount is $10. There is no maximum gift.
