Kentucky Refugee Ministries - Lexington

About the Organization

Since 1998, KRM Lexington has assisted clients as they work to become self-sufficient and to reach their own goals for their social, emotional, health, and economic well-being. We offer comprehensive case management, youth services and programming, employment assistance, health system navigation, housing and emergency assistance including rent and utility assistance, English classes, cultural orientation and citizenship classes, college/career readiness and scholarships for young adults, immigration legal services, and more. We know that these services benefit our clients and the community as a whole by helping newcomers access the resources they need to thrive here.

Currently, we are serving clients who have been forcibly displaced from Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ukraine, Cuba, Haiti, Burundi, Rwanda, Syria, and more. Once here, our clients go on to rebuild their lives - working, enrolling in school, saving for homes, contributing to the community, and eventually seeking citizenship. Our clients help make central Kentucky a more vibrant and diverse place to live.

Help us celebrate 25 years of refugee resettlement in central Kentucky by donating $25, $250, or $2500!
